rainy days and mondays

I’ve got nothing against The Carpenters, but I’m going to have to respectfully disagree with them. Despite the fact that today is both a rainy day and a Monday, I’m feeling fantastic. Perhaps the two conditions cancel each other out, kind of like double negatives turning positive in basic multiplication problems?

Besides, I’d better get used to this sort of weather. On the horizon is Korea’s rainy season, the hot, humid monsoon months of June through September, when the country receives about 70 percent of its annual rainfall. Time to stock up on umbrellas!

Ew I hate the rain. If there’s more of it coming, it helps that it’s not bringing you down.
